Let’s see what is in the box. Of course, you’ve got the literature, the stickers, 20-watt USB-C power brick. Thank goodness they included it in this box. And then a USB-C to USB-C power cable to charge your Apple iPad Air (2020).
In this review, we’re going to talk about everything new in the updated Apple iPad Air (2020). And man, this was a massive update! Apple included a tone of changes, redesigned, crazy fast, new, never before seen touch ID changes, and a whole bunch of stuff to talk about. So let’s dispense with all the formalities and just jump in.
Design and ergonomics
This one actually has the same exact form factor. A little bit smaller display at 10.9 inches instead of 11 inches. You can tell that there are some similarities! Yeah, actually it’s the same size, which means the magic keyboard that works for the 11 inch iPad Pro also works with the new iPad air. See the magnetic Apple keyboard that basically just snaps into place. The sky blue is subtle color is very nice and it has flattened edges, just like the new iPhone 12s.

So you can just reach your finger up there, and boom, it is very fast going to unlock your iPad authenticate for making purchases. Very cool without all of the hassle of face ID for those that don’t want it in this cheaper, more cost-effective package.
Performance
So there are more changes here in store aside from the finishes and the new 10.9-inch liquid retina display. We also have a new A14 bionic processor in there. It is crazy to see an A14 bionic processor debuting on an Apple iPad Air (2020) air before the pros or even the new iPhone twelves. If you haven’t heard A14 before it’s because Apple is using it for the first time. It must be better than the A12Z because it’s a higher number than someone would think. Well, let us consider this right away because of it not really true.
When it comes to the geek bench score, the Apple iPad Air (2020) verses, the pro-11-inch, the air actually comes out on top on the CPU score, which I mean bravo for Apple, not holding back. But when it comes to multitasking and just sheer power from the amount of course the pro 11 inches will still come out on top for a lot of the tasks that you’re going to do, but still super impressive. So the A12Z chip with an eight-core CPU and eight-core GPU Respectively is more than the six-core CPU and four-core GPU in the new iPad air.
iPad Air 2020 cameras
The new iPad Air also has a 7 megapixel FaceTime camera. The rear-facing camera is a 12-megapixel shooter, the same one that is found on the latest generation iPad pros. Get some great videos there as well as photos. All the speakers have been upgraded to some great stereo surround sound on the new iPad air speakers. We are moving to USB-C from lightning. So now there is a USB cable and a USB-C power break in the box. That is a lot faster than the lightning port that was there before a few things on that.

For a while, iPad Airs seemed kind of dated and not fun at all. So Apple did a great job with this one. You will love the colors! It has a lot of the same power as the iPad pro. And now I think one of the biggest reasons to go for the iPad Pro is to just get that 12.9-inch display. If you want the bigger size.
