Design and build

Infinix Zero 4 the same design and build as Zero 4 Plus. It has an all metal body with diamond textured metal. It has these dimensions – 151.5 x 76 x 7.75 mm and weigh about 168 grams. On the front part of this phone is its 5.5 Full HD display that is well protected by the corning gorilla glass 4. Top bezel houses the secondary shooter, or camera if you like, the call speaker and a sensor I presume is a light sensor. That is all that you see the moment you pick up your smartphone. The back part has the primary camera with the flash besides it and a fingerprint scanner right below it. All these are centrally and symmetrically placed. There is Infinix branding below the scanner and well. This phone’s grip is good, all thanks to the diamond texture on the back of this phone. That is it about the design and build of the Infinix Zero 4.

Display and camera

A Full HD 5.5 inches display panel is what we get on the Infinix Zero 4 Pro. The screen / display is very impressive. Colors are sharp, it is vibrant and all that good spice you expect on a display you pay this kind of money for. Sunlight readability of it is respectable as well and it does have great viewing angles. There is Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection here. I believe that has already been mentioned though. Good display here I have to applaud Infinix for trying. Its resolution is 1080 x 1920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density).

A good display deserves a great camera? This has become the trend lately and Infinix have not been left behind. It understands this best. You get an impressive 16MP MP primary camera with the Infinix Zero 4. Then the 8MP shooter on the front is the selfie camera for you selfie photos. Both shooters are very good at their work, the primary one especially. With it (and them) you get to capture the best moments in the best way possible (this is the same way I described Infinix Zero 4 Plus’s camera- a repeat has been done here). You get crisp, sharp and clear pictures here. Video recording stands at 1080p@30 fps. This is a respectable mark. Yes so to wrap this up, camera performance on this phone is impressive here, I’d say, on a scale of 1-10 – 7.5. Some camera features featured here include Optical image stabilization, geo tagging, HDR and panorama.

Performance and memory

It comes running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with XOS. XOS is Infinix’s UI (user interface).

It has an octa core 1.3 GHz CPU, a MediaTek MT6753 chipset and Mali T720 GPU.

You can still expand its 32 GB RAM using an SD card up to 128GB. RAM count is 3 gig of RAM. I love that this smartphone does not hang unnecessarily. Not that it feels need to hang sometimes, what I mean is, its performance is seamless. It can handle multi tasking just fine. It seems quite impractical on paper unlike in real time.

It has a sealed 3200 mAh battery that will sure last a day or two of mixed usage. Mixed usage is hard to explain. But should I try I would say a little bit of everything in a day. That is music, browsing, chatting etc. Battery usage wholly depends on how a user engages his smartphone, I always say.

Other features

Features like WLAN (wi-fi, wi-fi hotspot), GPS and toggles applications like Bluetooth and flashlight are present.

You get to choose a grey or gold or fillet brown or pink Infinix Zero 4. These are the same colors as those on its bigger brother, the Infinix Zero 4 Plus. Have your choice, and buy your Infinix Zero 4 today.
