Infinix Hot 6 Pro
With the likes of TECNO making major strides in the African market (abroad as well), Infinix has not been left behind either. This is a company that has build it’s name from scratch and made its way into the market today. A Household name now I would say, Infinix. And just to keep us aware of that, the company added to its line another smartphone in 2018, this is the review of Infinix Hot 6 Pro. Below are its features as you will find.

I can always tell what a phone is or how it will hold up just by looking at its specs on paper and this one, Infinix Hot 6 Pro sure is worth a shout. Let’s take a detailed look at it.
Design and build
I’ll mostly talk about placements and looks here. The build is metal and plastic no doubt, specially because of the removable battery feature. On the back is a horizontally oriented dual camera set up on the top left corner. The fingerprint scanner is rear mounted and just about where you would expect it to be with Infinix labelling right below it. Front part features identical top and bottom bezels with the top one housing selfie camera, sensors and a speaker while the lower bezel is kept clean. Yeah so the back home and recent keys will be on your display. Pretty much it for its design and build. Volume rocker and power button are on the same side of this phone.
Display and camera
6.0 inches is a decent display estate I got to say. Most people love large displays on phones these days. You might think of it as a phablet but soon, 6.0 inches will feel just normal. It is an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 720 x 1440 pixels resolution. Okay stats for me here. I usually have no complains if I can see my display in outdoor conditions, and that is the case here. Of course multi touch and 16 M colors are on deck with it.
Interestingly Infinix Hot 6 Pro has dual camera setup. The primary camera is a 13MP + 2MP shooter. I somewhat feel that 2MP camera was not necessary really coz it really doesn’t do much. That aside he 13MP lens is great at its work just like the 5MP shooter you’ll use to snap your selfies with. Overall I’d say 6/10 score for cameras here.

Performance and memory
It is good to see Android Oreo on the Hot 6 Pro. I do hold highly smartphone companies that include the latest software updates on their new phones. On board is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset, Quad-core 1.4GHz CPU and Adreno 308 GPU.
With respect to it you get to choose between 16GB with 2GB RAM or 32GB with 3 GB RAM. Bith have support for microSD memory expansion up to 128 GB
What I love most about this phone is its battery life. It has a removable battery, something you rarely see these days. At 4000mAh capacity you get up to a day and a half of mixed usage, sometimes even two, depending on your usage of course and this really seems to be the big deal about this phone.
A power horse this is mostly with okay performance and design. For it’s price, I would definitely recommend it. Comes in Sandstone black, magic gold, bordeaux red or city blue. Get yours today.
