This is an overview of the new Infinix Note 4, the successor to the Note 3. It is a new addition to the market that you can get online. This article is the review its specs and features, noting any improvements and at the end recommending it if need be. Let us dig in.
Design and build
This is the best looking smartphone or phablet Infinix has ever made. It has a premium design that many will surely fall for on first sight. I have to say that the design of this phone is one of the key areas Infinix improved. It is a full metal body phone with a glossy back that nicely reflects lights that bounces on it, almost to the level of the Huawei Honor 8. This feature is made possible by the addition of a 2D Glass coating on the back panel of this phone. We see a camera with a flash beneath it, Infinix branding on the middle and at the bottom of the back there is NOTE branding. Facing you is its 5.7 inches panel. There is the selfie camera and an LED notification light on the top bezel. Between them is the call speaker. The bottom one has two capacitive touch areas with the home button in the middle that serves as a fingerprint scanner as well. The volume rocker and power button are on the same side of this phone. This design is beautiful and the build of it is an elegant craft.
Infinix Note 4 comes with the newest sharp 5.7 inches feature with high color gamut- reaching 85 percent NTSC. Let me break that down. 85 % NTSC is 20 percent higher than most of its competitors. You not only get a sharp display but also a bright one. It is an IPS display panel that supports 16 million colors and of course multi touch. I love that it can be easily viewed in whichever lighting conditions and it is a powerful screen that is never so colorful. It has great color punch, a wide display estate and great viewing angles.
I am yet to come across a smartphone with a great display and poor camera performance. On the Infinix Note 4 we see a 13 MP primary camera with a dual LED flash and an 8 MP front facing camera as well. It has the power to capture moments clearly. ‘The 1.4 um 8MP camera combines the latest selfie filters to make all of your selfies truly stunning.’ The cameras on this smartphone impressed me a lot. You get great looking selfies especially. The primary camera is a good shooter in both low light and well light conditions. It is a phone I would recommend for persons who love photography In general.
Some of the camera features available are geo tagging, phase detection, HDR and Panorama modes.
Performance and memory
This is yet another pillar used to rater a good phone. Its performance with regards to processing and memory. Infinix Note 4 comes with an Octa core chipset that gives the best experiences in gaming, watching videos, streaming and even browsing through the internet. You can either get the 2GB RAM with 16 GB of internal memory version or the 3GB RAM with 32 GB of ROM. Regardless of the one you go with, the RAM is enough to give a great user experience since it delivers enjoyable and smooth performance. Its internal memory can be expanded up to 128 GB using an SD card. The phone handles multi tasking just fine and during my time of use I did not experience and signs or lag at all.
On board is a sealed 4300mAh battery that supports quick charge, which Infinix calls Xcharge. You get 45% from zero of charge in a matter of 30 minutes. I also have to mention that 4300mAh is a very big battery capacity for a 5.7 inches display. so expect it to last way longer than any other regular smartphone. The Infinix NOTE 4 will give you 2 hours of phone call or six hours of offline music listening with just 5 minutes of charge. Amazing is it not>
Let us wrap this up. This is a solid phablet device with extremely good performance, great cameras and stunning design. It comes in three colors- gold, blue and black- have your choice.
