The Tecno F2 LTE version comes with 4G LTE just like the name suggests. There’s a rear fingerprint scanner on-board . Overall, the design was also improved to be more sleek and modern.
The F2 LTE sports a removable Plastic back that’s quite attractive to say the least. You won’t have a clue it’s Plastic with the way the curved antenna lines were beautifully placed at the top and bottom corner. Then, there’s a fingerprint scanner that grants quick access to the device.
There’s a horizontal foundation at the top left corner which houses the rear camera and LED flash. The volume keys and power button are present by the right side, it’s also not that slim measuring 9.55mm in thickness and available in Black, Gold and Blue colors.

Design and build
The build of this phone is all plastic, hard plastic yes but- it still is plastic. That may sound like criticism but really it’s not. There is no criticism for a budget smartphone being made out of plastic. Most, if not all are. It has a typical Tecno phone design. The front has capacitive touch keys on the bottom bezel while the top has selfie camera, flash, speaker and sensors. At the back we see a fingerprint scanner which was not in the F2 from before. TENCO label is right below it. Primary camera with LED flash are on the top left corner while a speaker is on the bottom left. Power button and volume rocker are om the same side. It has these dimensions this phone, 143.8 x 73.94 x 9.55 mm.
Display and camera
It is an FWVGA IPS capacitive touchscreen of 16M colors and multi touch function. 2D or gorilla glass have not been mentioned here so we may assume that neither was included. It is 6-inch display, and for its estate alone I give it a thumbs up. With 854 x 480 pixels resolution you get sharp screen with decent viewing angles.
Both cameras, that is the primary and selfie lenses are 5MP, and both have LED flash light. The selfie camera steals the show though it really does take some impressive pics. Not that the primary lens is bad, but at 5MP, TECNO should have done better I suppose? We have seen them do better in this department really. You still get okay pics with it regardless.
Performance and memory
Operating system: Android 8.1 Go, Quad-core 1.3GHz processor a MediaTek Chipset and a Graphics Processing Unit by Mali. Probably what you’d expect here, no? I bet yes.
Its 8GB internal memory can be expanded up to 32 GB using an SD card. RAM count is 1GB.
A 2400mAh battery should last up to a whole day of usage. You’ll probably need to charge every other night, you know, just like all other smartphones.
A decent budget smartphone by Tecno. Comes with the choice of black, blue or color gold. Have your choice.
